Guesthouse Cabosse

At a glance
Guesthouse Cabosse is a boutique guesthouse and spa in Antwerp, set in a stately townhouse on Sanderusstraat. Its character comes from individually designed suites, collected decorative pieces and interiors that combine classic architectural details with references to travel, film, music and design.
The guesthouse has four named suites: Queens, Askoy, Thompson and Moonwalker. Each has its own visual identity. Queens pairs ornate fireplaces, decorative ceiling mouldings and pagoda-shaped lights with a black marble bath, crystal lighting and Venetian-style mirrors. Askoy takes its name from the boat associated with Jacques Brel and includes original pieces from the vessel, alongside a more restrained interior that evokes a sailing boat.
Thompson draws on Thai influences, with silk curtains, a solid wooden floor, a glass desk and a seating area that can be separated from the sleeping space. Moonwalker occupies the top floor and uses light colours and sunny tones for a more romantic atmosphere. A mezzanine provides a separate workspace, while a private terrace faces the garden side of the house.
Beyond the suites, Cabosse has a wine bar called Riad's Winebar, with wine tastings and courses forming part of the offering. Private dining is also available by request, making the venue relevant for guests looking for a wine-led stay or a more intimate culinary occasion. An afternoon tea-style experience, listed as L'après-midi, adds another food and drink option.
The overall atmosphere is residential, curated and highly individual rather than uniform. The accommodation suits adults seeking a design-focused stay with distinctive rooms, while the wine programme and private dining appeal to visitors interested in tastings and leisurely hospitality. Cabosse welcomes guests aged 12 and above.
